| Cruising Songs - Car Music |
We are in the car more than you think:
-
The average time people spend traveling
has increased between 1995/97 and 2005 to 385 hours per
person per year (an increase of 4 per cent).
-
Travel by car now accounts for 61 per
cent of time spent traveling, compared with its 60 per
cent share in 1995/97. Over the same period, the proportion
of time spent walking has fallen from 20 to 17 per cent.
Therefore, of the 63 minutes spent traveling on average
each day in 2005, 39 minutes were spent traveling by car
and 11 minutes were spent walking.
-
The average amount of time spent traveling
by car increased by 6 per cent between 1995/97 and 2005
to 235 hours. Over the same period, the amount of time
spent walking decreased by 8 per cent to 67 hours in 2005."

Hopping in the car, blasting your favorite music, is probably
one of the nicest feelings in the world. It sure is for
me. No wonder why musicians feel the need to write music
pertaining to this entertaining activity.
You've got a mix of soul, rock-n-roll, country, and pop
music to cruise to too.

Also, since we don't "sell out" to those Pop-up advertisers,
and we're too proud (so far) to ask for donations, we'd like to proudly
point out some of our carefully chosen advertisers throughout the site.
They have some cool stuff that should be sitting in your room, or wrapped
like a present for a friend.
Please check 'em out!
